What You’ll Be Doing

As a Fettling Operative, you’ll help transform castings into high‑quality finished components, using both manual techniques and cutting‑edge robotic fettling equipment. It’s hands‑on, varied, and rewarding work. You’ll:

  • Carry out manual and robotic fettling to remove excess material
  • Use grinders, chisels, sanders, and other tools
  • Operate and monitor robotic fettling equipment
  • Inspect castings to ensure our high standards are met
  • Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organised
  • Work closely with a genuinely supportive team
  • Play a part in continuous improvement and innovation

No two days are the same and you’ll get the satisfaction of seeing your work contribute directly to the final product.
