We are seeking an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join our office-based team in Totnes. The successful candidate will support the sales function by managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and issue sales documentation including quotations, order confirmations, and invoices.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM/ERP system.
- Act as a point of contact for customer queries via phone and email.
- Liaise with production, planning, and quality teams to track order progress.
- Assist with delivery coordination and liaise with logistics providers.
- Produce regular sales and order reports for management.
- Support the sales team with general administrative duties.
- Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office administration role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
