Reporting to: Electrical Manager

About The Role:

Due to the award of multiple new contracts across Northern Ireland, we’re expanding our QS team in the region. This is a primarily remote role with the flexibility to attend site visits and meet engineers as required. Ideal for a QS looking for autonomy, structure, and strong operational support—without the usual frustrations of chasing certs or firefighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and sign off NICEIC certification and testing results
  • Provide technical support to electricians and teams
  • Ensure certification is completed within SLA/KPI timeframes
  • Carry out audits, site visits, and performance reviews
  • Lead toolbox talks and 1-2-1s with your team
  • Monitor quality, compliance, and contract performance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of electricians

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified electrician (essential)
  • Level 3 Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
  • Level 3 Installation (2330 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience across installation, testing & maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical regulations
  • Confident leading, supporting, and developing engineers
