About the job

As the Strategy and Operations Lead for Google Marketing Platform Sales, you will lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution across the Americas' Google Marketing Platforms (GMP) team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that these businesses run as effectively as possible in close partnership with the leadership team.

The Go-to-Market Operations (Gt M) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly.

We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.

We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Partner with the Managing Director of Google Marketing Platform Sales and their leadership team to develop the go-to-market sales strategy across multiple businesses and drive execution across the team.
  • Drive operational logistics, including optimizing resource allocation across teams, engagement models, driving weekly management meetings, setting KPIs, and measuring progress to improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices and collaboration across the sectors and partner teams.
  • Participate in and help steer cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring proper strategy, implementation, and adoption.
  • Define channel strategies for resellers and partners, and execute annual and continuous planning processes to optimize emerging sub-teams in areas such as Connected TV and commerce media networks.
