b Overview /b p Lead the Digital Wellbeing engineering team to advance AI-driven solutions that address global user wellbeing. You will define technical strategy, drive execution, and cultivate a high-performing culture across cross-functional partners and Android teams. You’ll architect AI initiatives for the hardest wellbeing problems and ensure scalable, quality delivery. This role blends technical leadership with stakeholder management to make a meaningful impact for 1B+ users. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead and shape the Digital Wellbeing engineering team and its technical strategy /li li Drive execution across cross-functional partners and Android teams /li li Architect and deliver AI/recommendation solutions for Digital Wellbeing challenges /li li Ensure processes, code quality, and architecture scale with advancing technology /li li Manage internal stakeholders and coordinate across sites internationally /li li Oversee large-scale projects and budgets across multiple locations /li li Contribute to product strategy and foster team development and culture /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience /li li 8 years of software development experience /li li 5 years of experience building and deploying recommendation systems models in production /li li 3 years in a technical leadership role overseeing projects /li li 2 years of people management or team leadership experience /li /ul ul li Cross-functional collaboration /li li User-focused mindset /li li Project ownership /li li Android development in Java or Kotlin (preferred) /li li Experience implementing on-device machine learning or AI feature development /li li Experience with building and deploying recommendation systems (retrieval, prediction, ranking, embedding) in production /li /ul
