A Strategic Partner Manager for YouTube Shopping in CEE is responsible for building an affiliate program that enables creators to earn commissions from merchants. The role involves recruiting CEE merchants, generating engagement, and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to identify partnership opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Define partnership strategy for CEE to help achieve YouTube’s Shopping goals.
- Partner with CEE brands and retailers to close agreements and drive engagement with new product features and marketing activations.
- Be a domain expert for your areas, understanding market dynamics and engaged landscapes.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external CEE partners.
- Incubate new products and formats, ensuring that partner feedback optimizes product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
- 5 years of business development experience, including identifying partners and managing agreements.
- 3 years of experience working with product, engineering, and legal in a technology environment.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Fluency in English and a Central and Eastern European language (e.g., Polish) to support client relationship management.
