As the Managing Director for Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), you will lead the strategic outlook and execution for an organization of expert builder‑consultants dedicated to the "last mile" integration of Google’s AI suite across EMEA enterprises. You will act as an executive sponsor, guiding large and complex customers through the transition from AI experimentation to scalable, production‑grade deployments of Google Cloud’s suite of AI solutions. You will utilize a blend of deep technical architecting and high‑level commercial acumen to ensure that enterprise‑wide implementations—from sophisticated multi‑agent orchestration to holistic workspace integration—deliver transformational business value and drive sustained, massive‑scale platform consumption.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct FDE to own the technical lifecycle of major AI oriented projects, accelerating the move to fully integrated, secure production environments on customer infrastructure.

  • Partner with sales and tech leadership to define engagement requirements, deploying talent to high‑stakes strategic AI accounts and advising C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Serve as an executive bridge to Product Engineering, converting field insights from enterprise deployments into critical roadmap features for Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and other AI‑enabled enterprise solutions.
