As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs. As a Technical Program Manager, you will provide leadership and management to ensure the successful delivery of our growing global fleet of Data Centers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to manage multiple projects through the various stages of evaluation, design, agreements, construction, and handover to operations. The portfolio will include projects at greenfield sites and within operational facilities for both our smaller scale data center infrastructure deployments as well as hyper-scale data centers.
You will be involved in every aspect of tactical implementation and will partner with negotiators, project managers and engineers, as well as our construction and operations teams, to develop creative and scalable solutions for the delivery of data centers that meet our operational requirements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop processes, standards, and procedures that ensure an effective transition of third-party delivered data center facilities from construction to operations.
- Manage delivery validation process across a portfolio to ensure that construction quality standards are met and that critical closeout, commissioning, and operational documentation is collated in a timely manner.
- Establish process and controls to reduce operational risk of phased construction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment around expectations ahead of major milestones: Early Facility Access (EFA), Substantial Completion, and Final Release (FR), ensuring a clear understanding of contractual requirements and operational provisions is in place.
- Establish processes for clear, accurate, and timely communication with stakeholders.
