Minimum qualifications:

As a Strategic Partner Development Lead for Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business, you will be at the forefront of the next evolution in conversational mobile messaging, as Google is committed to transforming how businesses and consumers interact in an agentic world through RCS, via a rich, conversational, AI-native and verified experience on both Android and iOS.
In this role, you will support the commercialization and partnership strategy within your local market. You will navigate the complex conversational commerce ecosystem—engaging directly with a set of partners spanning AI-native botbuilders and Communication Service Provider (CSPs), Marketing Technologies (Martechs), Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) providers, messaging aggregators, and major enterprise brands. Your mission is to accelerate the localized adoption of RCS for Business, establishing it as the primary high-engagement channel for businesses.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the hyper-growth of RCS Business Messaging in the market by building localized GTM playbooks, toolkits, and vertical-specific use cases (e.g., Retail, Banking, Travel) to deploy with and through partners to onboard major enterprise brands.
- Lead relationship management for existing ecosystem partners by enabling them to launch and scale RCS, optimizing performance, unblocking commercial or technical hurdles, and ensuring high campaign quality, while identifying and enabling new partnerships as business needs arise.
- Serve the market internally, collecting partner feedback and working closely with Google Product, Engineering, and Partner Engineering teams to shape the global RCS product roadmap.
- Negotiate and execute strategic agreements with local messaging providers, including but not limited to AI-native agent builders and CSPs, Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Customer Data Platform (CDPs), MarTechs, CPaaS providers and other industry participants to expand market adoption of RCS.
- Act as the local subject matter expert for RCS for Business, representing Google at regional telecommunications forums, digital marketing events, and high-impact executive pitches.
