Design and user experience (UX) are at the forefront of everything we do. The job of an Interaction Designer is to envision how people experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined and even magical. In an Interaction Designer role, you’ll tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for billions of people around the world—from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.
The Health Devices team designs the system User Interface (UI) for Fitbit trackers as well as fitness experiences across other wearable form factors. As a UX Designer, you will drive the design and strategy for key wearable-centric initiatives that amplify the Personal Health Agent (PHA) and connect the entire health world. You will focus on transforming health data into simple, compelling narratives that deliver personalized, empathetic intelligence to our users.
The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behaviour science, and user-centred design to help users organise the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
