Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of full-cycle experience hiring for technical or data centre operations roles within EMEA.
  • Experience implementing recommendations to solve staffing problems.
  • Experience in talent acquisition methodologies (e.g., Boolean search techniques and platform management).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment, partnering with stakeholders.
  • 3 years of experience securing applicants and discussing compensation packages, leveraging experience engaging talent.
  • Experience solving problems and delivering significant impact as a contributor.
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and build alignment across teams.
  • Ability to grow customer relationship management, provide consultative skills, and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent accountability, work ethic, integrity, and organisational skills with attention to detail.

About the job:

As part of our recruiting team, you're charged with finding the most interesting candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit to all they do. You're responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the magic of working at Google. You are creative and driven, which allows you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient. In this role, you will identify and attract talent to Google Cloud in EMEA. You will support the growth of our Cloud customers business, enabling them to continue innovation in their product areas. As a recruiter, you will engage and hire applicants for go-to-market roles (e.g., Cloud sales, client solutions, and technical solutions). You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs of each role and develop hiring strategies to deliver for the business. This is a fixed-term contract position until 31st Dec 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire go-to-market talent, ensuring attainment of business hiring objectives.
  • Develop and manage sourcing strategies, and deliver quality through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, contact lists, and research.
  • Provide an experience for every applicant from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, and managing the interview and offer process (e.g., reference checks, salary recommendations, and securing candidates).
  • Communicate with the interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process, and share and exchange information with management.
  • Discuss offers to secure talent, partnering with management to secure hires.
