Minimum qualifications:

Business finance provides financial support and advice to Google's Global Business Organization (GBO). Our work is integral to the operations and strategy of the Commercial teams across all our advertising products from understanding market and usage trends to exploring the productivity and return of our various investments. The business finance organization is an important partner and self-supporting advisor to the commercial leaders in our company.

In this role, you will support the Finance team for France, Italy, and Iberia a critical cluster for our EMEA business. You will be working closely with executive analysts to drive excellence in our execution and planning. You will be responsible for navigating large, complex datasets to produce actionable insights, while ensuring the financial discipline of our core operational processes. This is a role for a professional who grows on structure, accuracy, and finding scalable solutions to ambiguous problems.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analyses to explain business drivers, revenue trends, and risks.
  • Support executive finance partners by translating complex data into clear narratives used for decision-making at the VP and Director level.
  • Take ownership of the region's data infrastructure. Utilize SQL and existing sales tools (e.g., connect sales) to build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards, ensuring the business has access to accurate, scalable insights.
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy in critical finance processes including weekly trading reviews, annual planning, quota setting, and OpEx (Operational Expenditure) management.
  • Identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions using SQL, Python, or AI tools to improve the speed, depth and quality of our reporting.
