Minimum qualifications
- JD, equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in legal, compliance, and regulatory risk within the technology industry.
- 15 years of experience working with European regulators.

Responsibilities
- Lead our engagement efforts across EMEA with relevant regulators and work cross-functionally across regions to ensure consistency and cohesion across a wealth of issues.
- Lead content risk leads interactions with Product and Engineering teams to translate legislation, and other obligations into design ideas to ensure compliance across a widening set of content, AI and consumer protection regulations.
- Provide legal advice and subject matter insights to varied legal and non-legal internal teams.
Review proposed product designs and advise teams on risks that arise during implementation.
- Develop our team structure to ensure performance and strong and trusted relationships within Alphabet.
Advise on product launches and business deals to help assess and navigate regulatory risks.
