Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in risk intelligence, trust and safety, crisis response, or risk analysis.
- Experience managing sensitive online content domains.
- 10 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Experience explaining technical analysis to stakeholders.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and investigate emerging trends, threat vectors, and behavioral patterns related to suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders across YouTube and the broader digital ecosystem.
- Monitor high-risk online phenomena, assessing how self-harm content morphs, evades automated detection, or propagates among vulnerable communities.
- Craft and communicate evidence-driven assessments and analysis to executive management and cross-functional stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Trust and Safety, Youth, and product teams to translate behavioral and trend insights into actionable intelligence that drives safety mitigations and product updates.
