Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in contingent workforce solutions and operational performance optimization through supplier engagement.
  • 7 years of people management experience.
  • Experience leading supplier engagement activities at a CEO/VP level.
  • Experience designing and building a greenfield supplier engagement function at a corporate level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master\’s degree.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through multi-year operational transformations with measurable impact.

About the job

gTech\’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team helps Alphabet\’s Product Areas (PAs) scale outsourced operations efficiently while managing risks. Our goal is to enable informed decision-making for placing the right talent in the right locations, providing excellent user experience and minimizing administrative burdens. We support xW planning, strategy, and provide tools for managing xWF infrastructure, balancing engagement optimization with policy compliance.

The Solution Design Team is a lean, cross-functional group that understands product needs, risks, and operational constraints, rethinking xWS solutions within vertical teams. They pilot and roll out large-scale transformations and lead change management organization-wide.

In this role, you will collaborate with large, cross-functional suppliers to deliver service offerings used by PAs. Your responsibilities include working with suppliers at scale to improve efficiency, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with internal teams like Risk and Compliance, Partner Engagement, and within PAs (VMOs, GPO, etc.) to drive efficiency and risk mitigation across our supplier base, overseeing multiple P0 initiatives to enhance the contingent workforce experience within Product Areas.

Responsibilities

  • Use data to design scalable solutions that improve contingent workforce management across Alphabet.
  • Manage stakeholder groups to ensure alignment before implementing solutions.
  • Enhance the customer experience with cross-functional Workflow Solutions (xWS) throughout the workforce lifecycle.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team supporting workforce cost optimization, addressing or escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with customers (PAs) and suppliers to promote effective supplier engagement practices.
