b Overview /b p In this role you will secure and structure energy partnerships to support Google’s data center expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will align internal and external stakeholders around an energy-first growth strategy, ensuring grid readiness and reliable power for new sites. You will originate opportunities in emerging markets, collaborating with governments, utilities, developers, and regulators. You lead high-impact negotiations for power agreements and related energy infrastructure, shaping Google’s energy procurement and risk management. This is a chance to influence how Google scales its global infrastructure with sustainable, cost-effective power solutions. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Identify and nurture executive-level energy partnerships to support EMEA data center expansion /li li Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement an energy-first strategy for site growth and grid readiness /li li Originate strategic opportunities in emerging markets by collaborating with governments, utilities, regulators, and developers /li li Prepare market scenarios and evaluate commercial energy agreements and investments for potential data center sites /li li Lead and support high-stakes negotiations and internal approvals for PPAs, energy supply agreements, BESS, and grid/infrastructure agreements /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience /li li 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development /li /ul ul li excellent investigative skills /li li strategic thinking /li li ability to collaborate across cross-functional global teams /li li energy procurement /li li energy trading or market analysis /li li PPA negotiations /li /ul
