Quantitative Analysts work all across the organization to help shape Google\’s business and technical strategies by processing, analyzing and interpreting huge data sets. Using analytical excellence and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for Google and our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing advertising efficacy to network infrastructure optimization to studying user behavior. As an analyst, you do more than just crunch the numbers. You work with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales Associates and Marketing teams to adjust Google\’s practices according to your findings. Identifying the problem is only half the job; you also figure out the solution.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other data scientists on the team to externalize and publish the innovative ad measurement solutions being built at Google on key conferences and journals.
- Test the solutions on public datasets to demonstrate their effectiveness for general circumstances.
- Present the research works at external workshops and conferences.
- Share external research works about ad measurement with other data scientists on the team.
