As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multiâdisciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with crossâfunctional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of Waste Heat Recovery and Industrial Water Reuse projects for Google data centers, ensuring sustainable and resilient resource management.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, technical assessments, and risk analyses for proposed projects (e.g., heat and water), including assessing cooling system efficiency benefits from heat recovery.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships and agreements with thirdâparty users of recovered heat and source viable industrial/alternative water sources for data center cooling.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, design, construction, and operations teams, as well as external consultants, to successfully implement projects at new and existing locations.
- Manage the technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects of project development, including necessary treatment and conveyance infrastructure for water reuse solutions.
