We are building the next generation of personal wellness tools, starting with our flagship Fitness Coach and Sleep Coach products. We are bringing together user’s health data from across several sources, best sensing inputs from our first‑party (1P) wearables and generative AI to help our users derive meaning from their data and offer them a truly personalized coaching experience.
The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behaviour science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the long-term technical goal and roadmap for the unified Personal Health Agent (PHA) architecture for Fitness and Sleep coach in partnership with other leads.
- Act as the key technical authority for the agentic platform that delivers PHA. Build and grow the technical expertise in the broader engineering organization to deliver agentic capabilities. Be a role model for engineering excellence in all dimensions.
- Lead the technical effort to productionize novel agent capabilities from Google Deepmind (GDM) and research. Evaluate new algorithms and agent tasks, define integration paths, and create a "simplified eval story" to validate them for clinical and product readiness.
- Partner with engineering organization leads, product, UXR, clinical safety to align product roadmap with technical strategy.
