You will lead a growing nimble, high-density team of currently 4 Executive Software Engineers, while remaining personally embedded in the codebase—spending 30–50% of your time designing and committing code. You will navigate Google/GDM infrastructure, and build bridge-technologies that turn research into production-grade agentic systems. Artificial intelligence will be one of humanity’s most transformative inventions. At Google DeepMind, we are a pioneering AI lab with exceptional interdisciplinary teams focused on advancing AI development to solve complex global challenges and accelerate high-quality product innovation for billions of users.
