As a Product Manager on the Science team, you will work directly with research scientists and cross‑functional product development teams to develop artificial intelligence (AI) systems aimed at transformatively accelerating science. In this role, you will help shape our approach to developing, shipping, and identifying high‑impact applications for science agents. You will play a critical role in building and applying new agentic systems, bridging frontier research with real‑world scientific issues. This role sits at the intersection of research and product, and requires technical depth and curiosity, insight, ability to navigate ambiguity, and a direct approach.

Responsibilities
- Advocate for the user and become a domain expert (e.g., familiarity with science tools and their technical foundations, capabilities, and limitations).
- Build prototypes and partner with teams across Google to land our research in scaled products and partner with research teams to improve the way we measure and hill climb quality.
- Identify nascent research that could become transformative products.
- Flex to other initiatives in science as needed.
- Identify impactful applications of flagship agents to new scientific domains and help incubate new agentic capabilities to assist with real‑world scientific workflows.
