This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aylesham, and requires the job holder to manage daily site labour (including agency operatives) while overseeing all site waste management, including disposal, segregation, and regulatory compliance, to ensure safe and efficient project completion. The role would suit someone who is looking to develop their career within demolition and construction, or someone with relevant industry knowledge seeking a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities include:- Managing daily, on-site personnel requirements (agency labourer allocation) and complete day registers and weekly time sheets for permanent employees and agency staff.
- Ensuring all site operatives have valid, in-date CCDO/CSCS cards and appropriate training.
- Organising the removal of waste, ordering skips, bins, tippers etc, and liaising with specialised waste contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with waste duty of care regulations, including accurate documentation for waste transfers.
- Strong communication skills, and leadership capabilities.
- Be able to make informed decisions and react in a timely manner to resolve operational issues whilst maintaining cost effectiveness.
- Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
