Reporting into the Director of Recruitment, Europe & Asia, the Recruitment Advisor will execute on all aspects of the recruitment process for Global Operations (GO!) Team positions across Goodwin’s offices in Europe and Asia. This role is critical in identifying and attracting top GO! Team talent and ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct sourcing, a highly collaborative approach, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across different regions.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for GO! Team hires in Europe & Asia, to include sourcing, interviewing, managing candidate pipelines, negotiating offers and the overall candidate experience;
- Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, referrals and direct outreach to identify and attract potential candidates;
- Review applications and make determinations for suitability for interview;
- Conduct interviews and assessments, both in-person and virtually, to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience and suitability for specific roles;
- Act as partner, consultant, and advisor to hiring managers and HRBP’s by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market;
- Coach hiring managers on the interview and selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions;
- Create compelling job postings (internally and externally) and actively manage job listings;
- Ensure all recruitment-related documentation, including offer paperwork, is accurately prepared and processed;
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process;
- Enthusiastically sell the Firm’s Talent Value Proposition and effectively communicate the growth strategy to prospective candidates;
- Pro-actively seek feedback from hiring managers and candidates on completion of each project and continually seek to enhance the client and candidate experience;
- Cultivate a network of talent across the region to proactively identify potential candidates;
- Maintain accurate records and report on recruitment activity across the region, including input into global departmental reports;
- Establish and manage strong relationships with key agencies/search firms, including management of fee agreements and annual relationship reviews;
- Work closely with the Opportunity, Inclusion and Belonging team;
- Ad hoc projects, as required.
Who you are:
- Proven experience of direct sourcing;
- Commitment to inclusion in all aspects of recruitment and integration;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills;
- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented mindset;
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (current ATS is Workday/Lawcruit);
- Ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Ability to work closely with other team members and display trust and loyalty;
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters and with discretion;
- Proven ability to provide a client focussed service;
- Degree educated or equivalent experience;
- 4+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience in a professional services environment.
