As part of our continued growth in London, we are looking to add a Knowledge & Innovation Assistant to the team. This role is on a 12-month fixed term contract.
What You Will Do
- Fund Terms Tracking: Lead the Fund Terms tracking initiative by managing the completion of online surveys at fund closings and during investor reviews. Coordinate with PIF KM lawyers to review outstanding fund lists. Follow up with associates and partners to ensure timely survey completion. Upload fund documents into AI tools and generate reports. Complete surveys for additional fund documents and fill gaps using associate approved AI reports.
- Document Sourcing: Collaborate with the Client Development team to identify and source additional LPAs and fund documents using matter mapping tools. Monitor the KM inbox for submitted LPAs and proactively engage with internal teams (e.g., Funds Finance) to locate relevant documents. Research external sources for fund terms information.
- Legal Technology: Use Legora and other GenAI tools to support fund terms tracking and document analysis. Assist in the development and implementation of the ProVision ILS in-house tech solution to develop a comprehensive database of side letters and fund terms.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Support the analysis of survey data to generate insights for internal use and client-facing initiatives. Assist in preparing reports and visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
- Knowledge Management Support: Maintain and update internal knowledge resources, including the KM resource hub and knowledge tree pages. Create and distribute regular current awareness updates. Update and manage standard forms and precedents. Promote awareness and adoption of PIF legal technology tools. Respond to fee earner queries and provide ad hoc support to Knowledge & Innovation Counsel/Lawyers in the UK and US.
Who You Are
- Law degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Law essential. Equivalent qualifications from other common law jurisdictions considered.
- Private investment funds experience preferred but not essential.
- Well organised, self-motivated and keen to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing).
- Ability to provide a high level of service in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to handle a high volume of tasks while maintaining attention to detail and prioritising as necessary.
