Goodwin Academy are seeking a Maths Teacher to join their vibrant and engaging, mixed academy based in the heart of Deal. The successful candidate will be expected to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated mathematics curriculum for students and to support the Maths Department.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and deliver the mathematics curriculum.
  • Support the Maths Department in planning, assessment and teacher development.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons.

Qualifications

  • Be a qualified teacher or ECT.
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning.
  • Have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have high expectations for achievements and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and development of the school.

This role is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis – actual working pattern can be discussed at interview.
