Learning Support Assistant

Goodwin Academy is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the SENCO to support students in a mixed Academy in Deal.
Responsibilities
- Work with individuals and groups of students as directed by the SENCO.
- Support and monitor student progress.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and conduct.
- Assist colleagues in learning, personal development and emotional literacy.
- Work calmly under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting learning in the classroom (primary or secondary).
- A patient, caring and compassionate approach.
- Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Desire to work with SEND pupils.
- Experience of SCLN highly desirable.
