Court of Protection Solicitor – specialist/fantastic opportunity – Bristol

A rare and really exciting opportunity to be able to join a dedicated, specialist Private Client law firm, for their offices here in Bristol.

We are working closely with this client as they are looking to appoint another Court of Protection lawyer to their already strong team, which focuses on a wide range of property and financial affairs, including for brain injury survivors and their families, individuals with mental illness, learning difficulties, and degenerative diseases. The work is challenging, varied and incredibly rewarding.

To be suitable you will already have perhaps at least three or four years of strong, hands-on experience dealing with Court of Protection practice, and a passion and compassion for working in this highly specialist area.

The work day to day will involve –

  • deputyship applications for both professional and lay deputies,
  • all aspects of ongoing management,
  • statutory will and gift applications, as well as..
  • preparation and management of personal injury trusts
