Goodwill Healthcare Services Limited is seeking multiple experienced and enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCA) to join healthcare settings within Northumberland and South Shields on a rota and shift basis.

Applicant Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months working as a Senior Health Care Assistant in a care/nursing home setting in the UK.
  • Skills: Experience with medication administration and documentation, ability to work as part of a team, assist with Activities of Daily Living (AoDL), manage teams, conduct risk assessments, and create care plans for service users. Adaptability to different care settings and effective communication skills, both written and spoken are essential.
  • Driving License: Preferred, but not essential.

Training and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent.
  • Medication Certificate and Mandatory Healthcare Certificate (both theory and practical).

Right to Work

  • Right to work in the UK and DBS Certificate required.

Working Conditions

  • 12‑hour shifts. Days, Nights and Weekends. Rota and shift basis.
