Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, communal areas, and facilities.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure infection control standards are met at all times.
- Dispose of waste safely and in line with policies.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage promptly.
- Support a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for service users.
- Communicate professionally with staff, service users, families, and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 months' experience in a healthcare or domestic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Active DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Additional Requirements
- Driver's licence preferred but not essential.
- 12-hour shifts.
- Cover days, nights, and weekends.
- Work on a rota/shift basis.
