What You Will Do
- Achieve: To be a key contributor to the leadership and operational success of the store. Support the financial objectives by providing direct supervision and training to maximize efficiency, safety, production, and sales goals.
- Support: Support the Store Manager to help oversee all daily operations and serve as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Complete and submit employee payroll records and perform frequent bank deposits and change runs in support of business needs as assigned. Back up any position in the store to accomplish goals. Provide support and management to other GIRE Retail Store locations as directed.
- Communicate: Effectively resolve issues with team members, clients, and donors with timely feedback. Promptly report and communicate safety concerns. Exhibit positive leadership resulting in a positive work atmosphere. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse population.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an increasingly responsible supervisory/management position
- Experience supervising or training employees, clients, or volunteers, including delivering instruction and providing regular feedback
- Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints tactfully and professionally
- Computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook at the beginning to intermediate level
- Organized and able to work independently
- Good communication skills, both in writing, and orally
- Valid CA Class C Driver’s License and proof of personal auto insurance
- Must have access to a reliable passenger vehicle that supports completion of essential and ancillary functions of the position
