Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains an excellent level of cleanliness in our stores, therefore creating an atmosphere conducive to retail business. Our retail business supports our training programs.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps, vacuums and mops floors; empties wastebaskets and takes out trash.
- Dusts/wipe shelves, mirrors, windows, furniture and fixtures.
- Cleans bathrooms and break areas and assures they are stocked with supplies at all times.
- Cleans dressing rooms and picks up clothes or hangers off the floor.
- Use only cleaning product provided and according to directions.
- Assists customers and donors as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Monitors store cleanliness at all times by performing visual and physical inspections.
- Report to management any supplies needed, or maintenance required.
- Assists in taking furniture/bulky items onto or off the sales floor.
- Follows all Goodwill’s safety procedures.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Six months to one year of related experience.
