Overview
Position Summary: Sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. Accepts donations and provides assistance on the sales floor as needed. Provides excellent customer service to donors and customers.
Responsibilities
- Sort, inspect, clean, price, and tally donations for the sales floor.
- Push racks and carts to the retail floor and assist in stocking and pulling merchandise.
- Open and close donation areas.
- Accept and safeguard donations, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
- Assist truck helpers and drivers with loading/unloading trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
- Knowledge of quality clothing and merchandise, especially brand names, is preferred.
