Position Overview

The Processing Worker I sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in our store. You will accept donations, assist customers and donors, and support store operations to ensure a safe and organized environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, inspect, clean, price, and prepare donations for sale.
  • Assist in stocking the sales floor and pulling merchandise.
  • Manage donation areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and shoppers.
  • Support truck loading and unloading activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 6 months of recent processing experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
  • Knowledge of quality clothing and popular brand names is a plus.
