Are you a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant looking to make a difference in patient care? Goodwill Healthcare Services Limited (GHS CARE) is seeking multiple experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our healthcare settings in Northumberland, South Shields on a rota and shift basis.
Position Type: Zero Hours Contract (Temporary)
Pay Rate: Β£12.21 - Β£18.32 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily care needs, including physical, emotional, and spiritual support
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and report changes
- Assist in diagnostic tests and communicate results to healthcare providers
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Maintain professional communication with staff, external professionals, service users, and families
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting preferred in the UK
- Relevant healthcare qualifications or training
- Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Driver (preferred but not essential)
- Active DBS
Working Conditions: 12-hour shifts Days/Nights/Weekends Rota/Shift basis
