Goodstuff are hiring a Strategy Director who will be responsible for delivering strategic thinking across our brilliant clients, and more broadly supports the planning teams in delivering best in class work across their client portfolio. They are a thought leader within the agency, helping to evolve and deliver our proprietary planning proposition, Move, for the agency. Working in close collaboration with the Strategy team and client groups, they are at the forefront of creating category defining, award worthy media strategies. They are a consistent point of contact for clients and an inspiration for Goodstuffers, offering ongoing expertise and direction in all things strategy. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Responsibilities

  • An expert and thought leader in Strategy
  • Leads in the delivery of strategic responses, using the full range of resources available through GoodProcess
  • Inspire our agency mission by focusing on opportunities to create high-profile, award-worthy work
  • Build strong, influential client relationships, maintaining counsel even when not part of the core account team
  • Become the go to contact for long term and high level strategic questions
  • Consistently well informed on clients’ business and sector, and contribute proactively whenever relevant
  • Leads from the front, role modelling Goodstuff values
  • Inspires our agency mission in what they say and do
  • Creates collaborative working conditions and drives agency integration
  • Identify opportunities for commercial growth linked to strategy and strategic projects for clients
  • Strategic lead on new business pitches, including presenting in pitch meetings
  • Develop strong, insight driven views and recommendations
  • Effectively links strategic thinking with implementation and investment

  • Experience working as a Strategist in a media agency
  • Able to craft and tell a compelling story and ‘sell’ ideas
  • Skillful communicator who listens well
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for learning and challenge
