The Goodstuff Broadcast Director blends excellence in channel specific planning and investment with strong leadership skills, delivering great work, a happy team and delighted clients.

They are responsible for leading responses to investment briefs, utilising their team & resources to deliver inventive and effective solutions.

They have a thorough knowledge of investment best practice and provide strong, evidence-led recommendations to the planning team and our clients.

They are expected to maintain good media owner relationships and inspire interest and engagement with the agency’s clients and campaigns.

  • Lead on a range of Broadcast briefs, translating media strategies into ideas and plans that lead to the very best results for clients
  • Engage with industry developments and relevant media owners, identifying new opportunities for clients
  • Oversee delivery of insightful PCAs
  • Confidently lead channel discussions in internal and media owner meetings
  • Confidentially interrogate and challenge briefs
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the role Broadcast plays in our clients’ business and in answering the brief
  • Demonstrate multi-channel awareness and Broadcast expertise in client meetings
  • Write and deliver integrated and compelling presentations
  • Direct day to day agenda, controlling workflow and deliverables
  • Create clarity around team roles and responsibilities, skilfully delegating to ensuring the team are performing the right tasks
  • Responsible for the overall quality and delivery of work of direct reports
  • Create strong relationships with direct reports, providing regular feedback, productive appraisals and 1:1s
  • Encourage a culture of integration across departments
  • Understand and support the commercial requirements of the business
  • Oversee frictionless financial by instilling best practice across the team
  • Get bookings on the system promptly and accurately
  • Support direct reports in efficient management of invoicing processes and quick issue resolution

  • Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of Broadcast and media best practice
  • Extensive experience in TV buying and reporting tools
  • Proven experience in implementation planning
  • A passion for Broadcast & Media effectiveness and the creation of ideas
  • Ability to build impactful relationships with Media Owners, Clients directly & Goodstuffers
  • Confident, committed and professional
  • A can-do attitude and positive approach, even in challenging situations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
