We’re seeking a meticulous, hands-on, process-driven SDET to help deliver high-quality software to our users. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring stability and a seamless user experience. Your critical thinking will help identify issues early, and your testing expertise will ensure code quality before release. If you have a QA background with automation experience, or a developer background passionate about testing, and want to contribute to a socially impactful company, this could be the perfect role for you! As an SDET, your main responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: Identifying potential issues early, managing test cases, automating test scenarios, improving test automation tools and methodologies, and integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines. Team Collaboration: Working closely with Grants, Platform, and Engineering teams. Success in this role will be measured by: Understanding systems and contributing within 3 months. Executing independently and impacting automation at 6 months. Demonstrating leadership and elevating quality standards at 12 months. This role is ideal if you: Have several years of QA and automation experience. Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript. Have experience with Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO. Know performance testing tools like Artillery or k6 (preferred). Have CI/CD pipeline automation experience, especially with GitHub Actions. Are familiar with Docker and AWS. Can review and contribute to test-related PRs on GitHub. Work well in a continuous flow environment and participate actively in agile ceremonies. Can produce clear bug reports, documentation, and test plans. Bonus skills include: Designing scalable test frameworks. Understanding security testing fundamentals (OWASP Top 10, Sonarcloud). Creating custom GitHub Actions workflows. Knowledge of Chaos Engineering. What you can expect upon joining us: Salary reviews and stock options.
