If you’ve been looking to join a fast-growing startup with a bold vision of a world where doing good is built into everything we do, then you’ve found the right place! Backed by General Catalyst, the same investors behind Stripe and Airbnb, we’re one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS companies – building the technology that enables global enterprises to give, volunteer, and fund with confidence.

Our Mission

Our mission at Goodstack is to revolutionize how the world does good. As a Series A social impact startup, we power global change through technology. We enable companies to seamlessly integrate positive impact into what they do through a unified platform while supporting nonprofits in gaining access to cutting-edge technology and finding new funding streams. Global brands, including Google, OpenAI, TikTok, LinkedIn, HSBC, Atlassian and Twilio - as well as thousands of nonprofits, including the Red Cross, Cancer Research, and Oxfam - use Goodstack to make a difference. In 2025 alone, we have facilitated $5 billion in donations to good causes. But this is just the beginning. We're building the world’s leading platform that powers donations to nonprofits globally.

To keep our momentum and deliver consistently high value to our partners, we need incredible people to help us on our journey – we need you!

Your mission will be to:

  • FP&A & Financial Planning
    • Build and maintain the company's financial model, revenue, cost, headcount, and cash, with scenario and sensitivity analysis.
    • Own the annual budget and rolling forecast process, working with all business functions to set and track targets.
    • Produce monthly budget vs actuals variance analysis with clear commentary and insight for the leadership team and board.
    • Develop business line P&Ls to give the business visibility into how each product and segment is performing.
    • Build and own the investor-ready financial narrative and supporting materials for fundraising and M&A processes.
  • Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
    • Act as the primary commercial finance partner to the VP Finance and leadership team — turning around ad hoc analysis, modelling, and commercial sense-checks quickly and independently.
    • Support pricing decisions, unit economics analysis, COGS deep-dives and margin improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with the GTM team on pipeline-to-revenue reporting, cohort analysis and commercial deal structuring.
    • Evaluate new commercial opportunities, partnerships and market expansion scenarios with financial rigour.
  • Reporting & Insights
    • Produce high-quality board and investor reporting packs — clear, well-structured, insight-driven.
    • Develop dashboards and automated reporting to give the business real-time visibility into financial performance.
    • Own the weekly financial reporting cadence for internal leadership.

This role is a perfect match for you if you have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance, strategic finance, or top-tier strategy consulting, ideally with a mix of scale-up and more established business experience.
  • Proven track record of building financial models from scratch, comfortable with multi-entity, multi-currency models.
  • Experience in a commercially facing role, you have worked directly with C-level operators, founders, or senior leadership, and are used to being the go-to person for financial answers.
  • Experience supporting a fundraise, M&A process, or investor reporting is a strong advantage.
  • Background in SaaS, marketplace, fintech, or tech-enabled services preferred; you understand recurring revenue models, unit economics, and B2B commercial dynamics.
  • Exceptional financial modelling, you build clean, dynamic, assumption-driven models that others can use and trust.
  • Strong commercial instinct, you don't just describe numbers, you interpret them and come up with a view.
  • Excellent communication, you can present complex financial analysis clearly to a non-finance audience.
  • High attention to detail with a bar-raiser mentality, your outputs are always polished, structured, and go beyond the literal ask.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to operate independently in a lean team without heavy process or oversight.
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets; experience with Xero, HubSpot, Fathom, or similar tools is a plus.

Mindset:

  • Think like a business partner, not a reporter; your instinct is to add insight, not just present data.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, you surface problems with a recommended path forward, not just a description of the issue.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift, and the answers aren't always obvious.
  • You care about quality; everything you send has been sense-checked, is well-presented, and reflects well on you and the team.
  • Excited by the mission, Goodstack is building infrastructure for global charitable giving, and you want to be part of that.
