We are currently seeking a
hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a growing team delivering high-quality communal garden maintenance services to Housing Association clients across
Slough
and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role requiring applicants to be physically fit and capable of working in all weather conditions. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining green spaces, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out communal grounds maintenance to a high standard across multiple sites
- Operate grass cutting machinery, strimmers and hedge cutters safely and effectively
- Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning and general garden maintenance
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs and planted areas
- Apply weed control treatments (spraying experience preferred)
- Complete litter picking and keep communal areas clean and presentable
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and use PPE correctly
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete scheduled work
Requirements
- Previous grounds maintenance or garden maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning and general landscaping
- Spraying experience is desirable
- Full UK
- manual driving licence with
- no previous motoring convictions or disqualifications
- Must be
- over 21 years of age (fleet insurance requirement)
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Eligible to live and work in the UK
Monday to Friday
40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Optional Saturday overtime available
Salary from Β£27,352 per annum, depending on experience

Experience
- Grounds or garden maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
