The project represents an investment of over £400 million in London's clean water infrastructure. You will help ensure that BIM models and engineering drawings accurately reflect the latest designs and site conditions, supporting engineering, construction and project handover.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside BIM, engineering, survey and construction teams on a major infrastructure project.

Incorporate survey data, red-line mark-ups and as-built information into models and drawings.

Maintain drawing and model revision control within the project's Common Data Environment.

Identify discrepancies between models, drawings and site information, raising issues with the relevant teams.

Support construction planning, engineering coordination and project handover.

Ensure digital information meets project standards and relevant BIM requirements.

Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, surveyors and construction teams.

Around

2-3 years' experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, such as water, utilities, civil engineering, rail or similar projects.

Previous experience as a BIM Modeller, BIM Technician, CAD Technician or Digital Engineering Technician.

Practical experience using

Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Experience with

Navisworks and federated BIM models.

Experience producing and modifying 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.

Understanding of construction methods and how engineering designs translate into site delivery.

Experience working with survey information, as-built records and drawing revisions.

Understanding of BIM principles, Common Data Environment workflows and model control.

Familiarity with ISO 19650 information management principles.

Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Happy to work

full-time, office-based in Walthamstow, East London.

Salary expectations in the low £40,000s or above.

Experience gained solely in residential construction or facilities management may not be suitable for this position.

Previous experience on water infrastructure projects, including Thames Water.

Experience on major civil engineering or infrastructure programmes.

Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, Thinkproject or SharePoint.

Experience producing as-built models and record drawings.

Experience working within a contractor's Technical Office or construction delivery team.

Involvement in a long-term programme running through to 2031.

Hands-on experience supporting engineering and construction delivery.

The opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams on complex infrastructure works.

The chance to contribute to essential water infrastructure and the UK's wider sustainability ambitions.
