Overview
At GoodOaks, we strive to be the go-to provider of quality care with professional yet personal carers delivering care to our private clients. We’re looking for experienced Self Employed Live In Carers to support our clients in their own homes, with a variety of placements available. You\’ll have the opportunity to work with over twenty five of our branches, across the UK, select which clients you would like to work with and be supported by our local care management network.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalised care to individuals in need at their own home.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Administer prescribed medications.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation and laundry.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Qualifications
- You have previous experience in live in caregiving.
- Strong communicator and the ability to build rapport with clients, their family and friends.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ideally you have a valid driver\’s license and car (for running errands) but it’s not essential.
- You already have the right to work in the UK.
- Ideally you have a full DBS on the update service.
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change and vary depending on our client’s needs.
