What’s the role?
- You’ll support clients in their own homes, helping with tasks such as:
- Providing companionship and engage in conversation with the client
- Supporting with daily household tasks and activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, laundry and ironing
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Running errands (shopping, prescriptions)
- Assisting with personal care (if required)
- Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medication (if required)
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings (if required)
What we need from you:
- A caring nature and good people skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage time well
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality
- Physical stamina for household and personal care tasks
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
