Good Oaks Homecare is an award-winning, Top 20 home care provider, and we're known for supporting people properly, both the clients we care for and the people who work with us.

We're opening a new branch in

Marlow and looking for a Registered Manager to help us build it from the ground up, delivering high-quality visiting and live-in care to clients across Marlow, Bourne End, Cookham, Marlow Bottom and the surrounding Chilterns towns and villages.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape a service from day one.

The new branch is opening in September, so we're looking for someone who can start with us then.

Because it's a brand-new branch, you'll need to be hands-on and happy to roll your sleeves up, helping build the service from the very beginning rather than stepping into something that's already up and running.

Whether you're an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy or Care Manager ready to step up into your first Registered Manager role, we'd like to hear from you.

What matters most is the right values, sound judgement, and the drive to grow a service you can be proud of.

  • What the role involves
  • Work closely with the Franchise Owner to launch, establish and grow the branch, building both visiting and live-in care services
  • Register with the CQC as Registered Manager, and take responsibility for compliance, quality and the safe running of the branch
  • Carry out client assessments and create person-centred care plans that genuinely fit each person's needs
  • Manage client onboarding and build strong relationships with clients, families and local health and social care professionals
  • Recruit, train, develop and lead a high-performing care team, filling senior roles from within wherever possible
  • Handle feedback and complaints openly, and use them to keep improving the service
  • Seek out opportunities to grow the service across Marlow and the wider Chilterns

What we're looking for

  • A confident leader: either an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy or Care Manager ready to step up
  • Genuinely hands-on, comfortable getting stuck in wherever a new branch needs you as it gets off the ground
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and what good compliance looks like in practice
  • A genuine passion for high-quality, person-centred care
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to motivate and get the best from a team
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work towards it (we'll support you)
  • Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check to work with vulnerable adults
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK (we're not able to offer sponsorship)
  • What you can expect from us
  • A salary of
  • £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience , with regular reviews
  • A discretionary performance bonus after probation, linked to care quality, compliance, client growth and sustainable business performance
  • Full training and genuine, ongoing support from the wider Good Oaks team, including help to complete your Level 5 if you need it
  • A paid enhanced DBS check and paid mileage
  • The chance to build a branch, a team and a service that's truly your own
  • Employment perks, including volunteer days and the Blue Light Card
  • The backing of an established, award-winning and carbon-neutral franchise, with a supportive and straightforward management culture
  • A role you can build a future in

This is more than a management job. It's the chance to establish a branch, shape a team, and deliver the kind of care Good Oaks is known for, right across Marlow and the Chilterns.

If that sounds like your next step, we'd love to hear from you.
