Purpose of the role: The Night Warehouse Controller is responsible for taking good-ins overnight, maintaining and cleaning the warehouse including fridges, packaging area, mezzanine floor and general warehouse.
A key part of the role will be to ensure we have consistency for all warehouse inventory for both goods-in and goods-out.
Main
Responsibilities
- Handover with opening controller.
- Cleaning of warehouse, fridges, packaging area and general warehouse.
- Ensure all good ins are processed on time and accurately.
- Signs drivers back in after their routes have been completed.
- Freshdesk ownership of round reconciliation.
- Complete handover, checklists and closure reports on time.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments where required, such as, delivery time, procurement, and customer service.
- Follow all RASOP documents to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
- Report damaged or missing items through electronic portal.
- Report accidents, incidents and near misses through electronic portal. Essential Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good physical fitness (as role may involve lifting and standing for long periods).
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
