Good Systems is the parent company behind Goodnotes, where millions of people capture and develop their ideas. By reimagining how we interact with information, we’re bringing together human creativity and the breakthrough capabilities of AI. We build products that help people turn good thinking into good work.

About the team: Good Systems has been through its own AI transformation. We've done the work: automating where it made sense, embedding AI into the systems we build and operate, providing consistent training to our people along the way. It changed how we work - and we learned a lot doing it. We now want to share what we've learned. That's why Good Systems is launching an AI Consultancy and we're looking for the person who will build it from scratch.

This role is based on-site in our London Paddington office five days per week.

This is the role for you if you're excited to work on:

  • Building a business from scratch: No structure, no case studies, no category brand behind you for the first stretch. You'll decide the shape of the offer, the pricing and the go to market.
  • Creating the demand: The first names on our client list will come from doors you open and conversations you lead, drawing on your network and the credibility you build in the market.
  • Working at the front edge of AI: Testing new tools, following how the field is moving and having opinions on what really works. You understand what changes when AI is applied properly - the workflows it removes, the capacity it frees up, and the gap between a business that has genuinely adopted AI and one that has only bought it.
  • Shaping what we offer: Two services on a commercial footing: corporate training and thought leadership in AI transformation, and product recommendation across both Good Systems and external products. How they package and price is yours to work out.
  • Being the face of a new brand: You’ll represent the brand publicly; speaking, publishing, showing up in the rooms where AI transformation is being decided and turning that visibility into pipeline.
  • Owning the commercials: Your own P&L, with autonomy on pricing, partnerships and hiring.

The skills you will need to be successful:

  • A strong sales background in consultancy or L&D. You've won the work yourself rather than inherited a pipeline, and you know how an advisory or training deal is really won: the long conversation and the trust built well before anything is signed.
  • You've held an Executive Director or General Manager level role, or run something close enough to know what carrying the whole thing feels like.
  • Deeply engaged with AI and fluent in how it's applied. You keep pace as the tools change, you use them in your own work, and you're credible with a technical audience.
  • Time inside a large scale organization, so you understand how buying decisions actually get made and how big companies work from the inside.
  • You have built a genuine network. You’re visible in the market; professional communities, networks and spaces where AI transformation is being discussed.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You’re energized rather than daunted by starting from a blank page.

The interview process:

  • Talent Intro Call: A conversation with our Talent Acquisition team to dive into your experience, what motivates you, and why you're interested in joining Good Systems.
  • Leadership Introduction: An open conversation with our COO about the opportunity, the ambition and how you think about building it.
  • Founder Interview: A deep dive into your zero to one experience: what you started with, the decisions you'd make differently, and how you build relationships.
  • An in-person commercial session: A working discussion on pricing, revenue potential, marketing investment and overall strategy. We want to hear how you think about the opportunity and where you'd take it.
  • AI Literacy: As an AI-first company, we'll meet with one of our AI champions to discuss your curiosity, understanding, and practical use of AI tools in your daily workflow.
  • Values Based Panel Interview: A conversation with team members centered on our company values. We'll discuss past experiences to see how your approach aligns with our culture.

What's in it for you:

  • Customized Growth & Wellness Budgets: We provide dedicated stipends for the things that keep you at your best, including noise-canceling headphones for deep focus, professional training, personal development, and health and wellness activities.
  • Global Connectivity: While we embrace flexible work, we love seeing each other. We provide sponsored visits to our beautiful office locations to foster face-to-face collaboration.
  • Company-Wide Offsites: Once a year, we gather the entire global team in person to celebrate our wins, align on our vision, and build lasting connections.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Your well-being is our priority. We offer premium medical insurance for you and a dependent to ensure peace of mind for you and your family.
  • 24 remote working days per year: Giving you the freedom to work from a location that suits your life. Whether that's closer to family, while traveling, or simply a change of scenery to refresh your focus.

Our Values:

  • Dream big - Be visionary, strategic, and open to innovation.
  • Build great things - Work in service of our users, always improving and pushing higher.
  • Operate like an owner - Take responsibility with bold decision-making and bias for action.
  • Win like a sports team - Be trusting and collaborative while empowering others.
  • Learn and grow fast - Never stop learning and iterate fast.
  • Share our passion - Share ideas and practice enthusiasm and joy.
  • Be user obsessed - Empathetic, inquisitive, practical.
