About the role

We're looking for a hands‑on IT Support Engineer to join our IT team in London. You'll play a key role in keeping our day‑to‑day technology running smoothly — supporting our teams, managing our Apple‑centric device fleet, and helping implement and maintain the tools and systems that power Goodnotes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional internal technology experience. This role is based full‑time at our London office.

This is the role for you if you're excited to work on:

  • Day‑to‑day IT operations: You'll be the go‑to person for keeping things running, handling routine support tasks and ensuring our teams can focus on building great products without tech interruptions.
  • First‑line technical support: You'll provide first‑tier support across our internal tech stack — including Google Workspace, Okta, CrowdStrike, Mosyle, Webex, Unifi, App Store Connect, Atlassian, and Intune — resolving issues quickly and escalating when needed.
  • Apple device management: In our predominantly Apple environment, you'll own the setup, security configuration, and troubleshooting of macOS and iOS devices, ensuring seamless performance across the organization.
  • Security & access management: You'll support the team in managing user access, enforcing security policies, and keeping our systems protected as we scale.
  • IT innovation & tooling: You'll contribute to researching and evaluating new IT solutions, with a focus on security enhancements, automation, and innovative tools that improve how we work.
  • Onboarding & network support: You'll help onboard new team members with a smooth tech setup experience and assist with network maintenance to ensure optimal connectivity across the office.

The skills you will need to be successful:

  • 1–4 years of experience in IT support or an IT help desk environment, ideally in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles, with hands‑on experience supporting end users.
  • Experience managing macOS and iOS devices in a corporate environment, including MDM tools and security configuration.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, device management platforms, and automation tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly.
  • A proactive, user‑focused mindset — you take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution.
