GoodNews was born in Barcelona in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, with the purpose of bringing back good vibes. How? Reinventing newsstands as community hubs and sharing good news in exchange of free coffee.
Since then, we’ve managed to spread our Good Vibes across more than 35 spots in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Amsterdam, and into over 2,000 homes and 100 offices. Our mission is to lead the revolution of coffee, matcha and functional beverages in Europe, inspiring an optimistic, healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Your Responsibilities
- Welcome, assist and build customer loyalty with friendliness and warmth.
- Maintain brand standards even during high-volume moments, following our recipes and techniques to ensure every drink meets our quality standards.
- Introduce new products, launches and promotions to customers.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties for the shop.
- Keep the space clean, organized and aligned with GoodNews standards.
- Restock and arrange products following brand guidelines.
- Perform inventory counts and record goods receipts in-store.
- Know the characteristics of the coffee, products and allergens to ensure safe service.
- Represent GoodNews at events, activations or brand collaborations.
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative and positive team culture.
- Keep track of the store's inventory.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and Food Safety Standards at all times.

Requirements
- Experience in the customer service or hospitality industry. Barista experience is a plus!
- Availability that meets the needs of our cafe
- Full Time: 35 hours per week, 4-5 days of availability required and must be available to work 2 peak days (Peak days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
- Part-Time: 21-28 hours per week, 3 days of availability required and must be available to work on weekends.
- You must be authorised to work in the UK.
