The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for an Indirect Tax Manager to join the Group Tax team, taking ownership of indirect tax compliance and advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end preparation of indirect tax returns (e.g.
VAT and GST) prepared by third-party providers, ensuring compliance with reporting and collection obligations across all relevant jurisdictionsPerform GL reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesImprove current indirect tax reporting systems and processes to strengthen controls and reduce time spent on return preparationPartner with corporate applications teams to ensure readiness for future developments, such as e-invoicing and real-time digital reportingAddress business queries relating to customs duties and import VAT/GST, and ensure contracts adequately address these taxes to minimise riskWork with local xohmjla advisors where appropriate to provide tax advice on miscellaneous mattersSupport the wider Group Tax team on indirect tax mattersMonitor and assess the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the group's VAT obligationsAbout YouRelevant recognised qualification (ACA, CTA or equivalent)3+ years' relevant tax experience within a Professional Services firm, plus post-qualification in-house experience
