Are you an experienced property professional looking for a varied and hands-on role? We’re looking for a skilled Surveyor to help manage and improve a diverse residential portfolio, ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with current standards. This is an interim role for 3-6 months.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for inspecting properties, identifying issues, and overseeing a wide range of works, from day-to-day repairs to larger refurbishment and improvement projects. You’ll play a key part in ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out property inspections and diagnose building defects
  • Specify, schedule, and oversee repair and improvement works
  • Manage contractors and monitor quality, cost, and progress
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Undertake condition surveys and support safety compliance activities
  • Review completed works and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and produce clear reports when required
  • Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Support project delivery across both occupied and vacant homes
What We’re Looking For
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, building defects, and maintenance practices
  • Experience managing repairs, maintenance, or refurbishment projects
  • Knowledge of relevant housing and building legislation
  • Ability to manage budgets and work with contractors effectively
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with residents and stakeholders
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
