I’m working with a well-established, City-based business looking for a Finance Systems IT Support Analyst to join a small, collaborative internal IT team.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys sitting between IT and Finance, taking ownership of business-critical finance systems while still staying close to wider IT support.

You’ll be the go-to person for the Finance team, supporting a move into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, helping manage SQL reporting/data work, and becoming the internal super user for finance-related systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Taking ownership of finance systems support across AP, AR, reporting and user queries
  • Working with SQL around data extraction, reporting, automation and migration
  • Supporting a finance systems migration/project environment
  • Managing users, licences, permissions, sandbox environments, upgrades and updates
  • Acting as the bridge between Finance, IT and external suppliers
  • Picking up wider internal IT support when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV / finance systems
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Good understanding of finance processes and reporting
  • Confident troubleshooting and supporting internal users
  • Someone proactive, hands-on and happy to take ownership
  • Continia experience would be useful, but training can be provided
  • Metabase, Power BI, DBT or wider data/reporting tools would be a bonus

This would suit someone from a Finance Systems Analyst, ERP Support Analyst, Application Support Analyst, Dynamics Support Analyst or IT Systems Analyst background. The team is small, friendly and very collaborative. You’ll have real ownership, direct exposure to Finance and senior stakeholders, and the chance to become the key internal person for finance systems.

The role will be office-based initially while you get up to speed, with the potential to move to a hybrid pattern after the first couple of months.

Please message me if you’d like to hear more.
